Are you looking to get into wheel throwing but with the comfort of a friend or partner by your side? Familiar with wheel throwing but want to show your partner or friend? Trying to recreate Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore's iconic scene in Ghost (1990)?

This is a spooky single session to try out wheel throwing, learn the fundamentals in 3 hours and gain access to the wheels during our Clay Lab (experience is required to use the wheel during Clay Lab). Sharing a wheel, you and your partner will learn how to center the clay on the wheel and how to open and raise the form in order to create basic vessels or plates. If you already have a bit of experience, this class may help you throw more successfully. We will also spend some time discussing finishing your pieces (ie trimming and glazing). All pieces you make in this class will be bisque fired within 2 weeks. You must come back to pick up your bisqueware (fired clay pieces) within 4 weeks. You may take them home or participate in any of our Clay Lab hours that occur twice a week to glaze your pieces.

Please note couples must register together. This will be a collaborative activity and partners will be in close proximity to one another for this course. Spaces limited!
