Youth Risograph Printmaking

In this workshop you’ll learn what a Risograph is, how it works, what makes it special, and you'll create a collaborative zine about protecting our environment! The instructor will show you some Riso print examples, share some favorite mark making tools and illustration techniques. Then you’ll walk through a print demo using the Risograph.
We’ll focus on environmental conservation as the subject matter of our prints and use this time for creative experimentation. You’ll draw, you’ll paint, you’ll collage, you’ll stamp; we’ll talk about ways we can take care of our planet and in the end you’ll take home a beautiful Risograph zine to share with your family, friends, and community.
