Designs that Pop: A Linocut Workshop

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll design, carve, and print your own linocut using the reduction method with one color plus black. Learn the fundamentals of relief printmaking, including inking techniques, pin registration, and paper preparation. The class includes live demos, guided instruction, and personalized feedback. You’ll leave with finished prints and the confidence to keep carving. No experience is required and all materials are included in the cost of registration.

About the Instructor
Susan Silvester is a Sacramento-based artist and printmaker with a rich background in visual arts, including years of teaching and commercial work. She now focuses on her studio practice and teaching linocut printing. A member of the California Society of Printmakers, her widely exhibited work explores both traditional and experimental approaches to printmaking.
