This exciting conversation will be facilitated by original Royal Chicano Air Force member Juan Carrillo as part of RCAF Mid-Flight, this dynamic panel brings the Royal Chicano Air Force’s influence into sharp focus. RCAF members will reflect on the power of collective work, the lessons learned through decades of teaching and community engagement, and what it takes to sustain a creative movement over time. From public art to private practices, unrealized dreams to future hopes, the conversation looks forward as much as it looks back, grappling with the state of contemporary arts, the role of arts education, and the influences that continue to shape and inspire new possibilities in their future projects.
